Forced bets are a fundamental part of poker. They can come in three forms: blinds, antes, and bring-ins. Each type of bet has special rules. Regardless of the type of bet, it is important to be aware of your own betting strategy and not let your opponent influence your actions. Remember to play every hand separately and follow the rules of the game! If you’re not sure which bet to make, take a look at our video poker guide.
Five-card draw: This game involves placing an ante into the pot. After the ante is placed, players can now see their cards. During the next phase, players can discard up to three cards and take new cards from the top of the deck. After this, there is another betting phase. If all players fold, the winning hand is determined by the player with the best five-card combination. Poker hands include a straight flush, a pair of aces, and four of a kind.
