There are several different variations of the game of poker. The lowest hand is 7-5-4-3-2 with two or more suits. However, in some games, the ace is the lowest card and is treated as the lowest pair. Depending on the rules of the game, the number of players can range from two to eight. The ideal number for a poker game is between six to eight people. The sum of each player’s bets in a given deal is known as the pot. If you win the pot, you take home the whole pot. The pot limit determines the betting range for each game. For instance, if the pot is $250,000, you would be able to win that amount.
